He then backed away and inspected his ear-looky flighlight thingy. Tyler and I could literally see the horror and contemplation in his eyes to burn the thing and then wash his hands 50 times in special doctor soap.
We gazed upon the utter lack of devastation

Leaves fall in soft, swinging semicircles
From the hesitant, partially swung end of the bat came the ball to my face.
There is a stubbornness deep down within my skull that resonates bluntly when inklings of resignation brew.
Of course it was raining; he had grown to expect such reflective circumstances.
He became aware of her question.
Looking up he noted sunset, turning around he saw her standing, staring vaguely west.
Spoken: "Ready?" Eyes widen.
He saw himself; scowling, sleep deprived, haggard, older.
His breathing paused every now and again, and people began to cheer, only to be interrupted by a grand snort and continued snoring.
They did not understand him. They did not know about the invitation.
He turned the card over several times, inspecting it, smelling it, looking for traces of sarcasm embedded in the ink. He found none.
The instant I uttered the first syllable, he blinked quickly and ever so slightly furrowed his brow...
In many ways I was ahead of my time.
"You've exaggerated me."
A small spring lay exposed, unnatural.
Besides, it's the only trick I know.
I had never acted before.
We were all consumed with a sudden giddiness that seemed, and still seems, dreadfully out of place...
Henry couldn't think of anyone who looked more unlike Queen Elizabeth than Ira.
