Noah takes a photo of himself every day for 6 years (via YouTube)

There is something profound in this.

There is something profound in Noah's daily progression of self-portraits compiled into this video on YouTube. Six years of life and change is condensed into a few thousand frames; the same expression and searching eyes stitching them all together.

The piano composition works perfectly as a soundtrack for this video, and is what solidifies the importance of this piece of digital artwork for me. The composition's style reminds me of Philip Glass (Check out Etude No. 1, Glassworks: Opening, and Etude No. 5) in the simplicity of the theme, the strength of the repetitious melody, and the power of the piano as the instrument of choice.

Check out "Everyday" by Carly Comando on iTunes (the brilliant original piano composition featured in this video).
