Most Popular Post, Ever.
I was delighted to find that I had been beaten up by people I've never met...
I've had the privilege of alpha-testing Google's (Formerly Adaptive Path's) blog statistics product Measure Map, and so have been keeping an eye on what posts on doodlemonger.com get the most traffic. I was surprised to find that a post from October, 2003 is by far the most popular. That post? Bodily Harm: 5.
It seems the included photo (which features my baseball-battered face) has been used in a number of strange contexts all over the Internet, and that most visits originate from image searches, looking for "beat up" (the file name of the photo is "tyler_beat_up.jpg").
I tracked down some of the out-of-context uses, and was delighted to find that I had been beaten up by people I've never met, rather than hit in the face with a baseball.
